When we have an experience, depending on perspective and most importantly our beliefs, we can have an emotional reaction to it. When a belief is threatened, it will bring up an emotion. If that emotion is not processed in the moment it occurred through authentically integrating a new perspective it will be stored and brought back as a signpost in the future through another event.
